For many of us, the years we spent in college were likely some of the best of our lives. But, I don’t see why the years – and decades – that follow can’t qualify for second-best! Boxes and Jars is a place where I document my navigation through this next chapter, and I invite you to explore them with me!

Boxes and Jars is a reflection of the intelligent, capable, well-rounded women who read it. The blog features practical recipes, cocktails, and a variety of lifestyle topics. My philosophy is that it’s possible for women to love baking, decorating, and glitter just as much as they care about their careers and their futures. From cooking to home design to figuring out how retirement savings work, let’s open a bottle of wine and enjoy it!

I grew up on the Jersey Shore and can assure you my childhood was nothing like the MTV show. I spent a lot of time without shoes on and probably ate my weight in Porkroll a few times over. And yes, I absolutely love Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

After college I spent two years living, working, and staying up too late in New York City. I returned to New Jersey to marry my best friend, John. We somehow inherited a partially blind dog along the way. All three of us recently moved to Denver, and we could not be happier to be here! We love exploring our new city and all that it has to offer.
